Audrey Hepburn Cafe in Songdo

Raise your hand if you like Audrey Hepburn!

Well, as I know of, there is no one who does not like Audrey. (Is there? :o)
She was and still is such an adorable, beautiful, and charming woman in the history.

Not only her appearance, but also what she did in her older ages is sooooo beautiful.
And that is probably why people love her and why she is remembered as the icon of true beauty.

I like Audrey Hepburn, too.
Actually, I think she is the most beautiful woman in earth.

A few years ago, when I first saw her in a movie, (I think it was Breakfast at Tiffany's)
I gasped at her beauty.
Then, I began to look for other movies she was in.
Roman Holiday, My Fair Lady, Two for the Road, etc.

Among those, my favorite is My Fair Lady!!
Probably because I am an English major student, what Higgins teach Eliza inspired me and taught me as well in a number of ways.

I, even, read the original book for the movie!
Pygmalion! :-)
Hehe, maybe I should say I am a fan of Pygmalion, rather than a fan of Audrey Hepburn.

Anyway, this Audrey Hepburn Cafe was established really close to my home, Songdo the new city of Incheon.

I think it was opened at the beginning of this year.
And I was SO excited to see the banner indicating the opening date.

I had already heard of this cafe even before I saw the construction banner.
Since I have always loved coffee and cafes, I had seen an article about Audrey Hepburn Cafe located in Yeouido.
At that time, there was only a few stores opened in Korea.
And that made me more want to visit there due to its rarity.

However, I didn't actually go to the store in Yeouido, but a new one opened in Songdo. :D
LUCKY ME :P

These are the look from outside.
The name of the cafe is seen really clearly with simple, white LED lights. :-)

Like most of other cafes, Audrey Hepburn Cafe has also decorated their stores Christmas-like.

I didn't take a picture of a Christmas tree inside.
But, the tree is also very simple with basic yellow-ish lights and red and silver balls.

I really like that tree because it looks like the Christmas tree that everyone can think of when heard of a Christmas tree.

The wall is decorated with Audrey's pictures in black and white.
It is amazing that she does not look old-fashioned at all even 21 years after she died.

Wait, those pictures are taken when she was young.
So, she looks still very fashionable in her 40-years-ago clothes, hair, and makeup. :O...

On the other side, there is a shelf with Cafe items, such as mugs, diaries, and tumblers etc.
And everything is related to or decorated with Audrey.
Quite pretty. I would have bought one if I had more money and more crazy about Audrey.

Tada-!

I ordered a drink called chocoanolatte.
Well, I asked for a hot choco, and the staff recommend me this.
And this is a hot choco.

Taste?
Just a basic hot choco.
But, a GOOD hot choco, you know?
There is some bad hot choco which tastes watery and does not form any foams inside a mug.
But it made full foams after I drank it all.
I wanted to scooped them all and eat it, but I endured the urge.

And the white ball thing is chocolate.
The staff said it was one of their new menu launched. :)
It was chocolate. Crunchy chocolate, in more details.

Cost!
5,000 won!!
which is not very expensive nor cheap.

Other drinks are about the same middle-classed.
For example, americano is 3,900 won for a smaller size.

Chair!
very comfortable, especially if you sit on the sofa where I sat on, lol.

Wifi, yes.
Outlet, yes.

Staffs were kind.
The lights inside were comfortable to do assignments.

And most of all,
it is the second closest cafe from my home. :)
Good location.

OHHHHHH!
Almost forgot.
They have a coupon system!
Drink 12 cups of coffee or other beverage, you get a large size cup of coffee for free.
I love cafes with a coupon system. :D
