Which factor do you think is the most important for you when you want to get a coffee machine for yourself?
People are making various kinds of coffee machines on different features and purposes.
So, today, I've searched some kinds of unique coffee machines for midnight fun! :D
First, do you want your coffee machine to be strong enough to be okay when it gets dropped and even beat? For example, your workplace might be little tough like a repair shop. So, you might want to get a sturdy coffee maker that can still make good coffee when several metals are accidentally dropped on it.
Then, you will want to check out this COFFEEBOXX coffee maker.
As you can see in the pictures, ruggedness is the strongest point of COFFEEBOXX.
It is designed to work in the world's harshest environments.
It is dust-proof, water-proof, crush-proof, and etc.
Also, it takes less than 90 seconds for COFFEEBOXX to make good coffee.
Moreover, it can carry 2.6L of water in its storage. (2.6L!!! holy moly)
It weighs about 5kg and the price is about $250.
The team plans to ship in March next year.
I was so shocked when I first saw the first picture above.
A coffee machine can stand the weight of a big car! A big big car! A Jeep!
Before seeing this article, the image of coffee machines was elegant and delicate to me.
But now, COFFEEBOXX broadened my spectrum of coffee machines amazingly. :P

Second, do you have a number of smart devices? And, thus, do you want your coffee machine to be smart as well? You can order a coffee if you only tap an app on your phone. Also, the coffee machine can remember how you like your coffee because it is SMART!
Let's check TopBrewer out together!
TopBrewer is a simple stainless-steel spout that emerges from your countertop,
and with a tap of an app, marvelously gives you coffee, espresso, cappuccino, and so on.
If you pay for TopBrewer, you can get free installation of the plumbing and machinery.
And the whole thing looks somewhat like a desktop tower PC, doesn't it? lol
The machinery has two advantages: it gets out of sight and it muffles its sound.
TopBrewer can brew up to 95 litres at a time and costs $20,000.
I like the simple outlook of this coffee machine.
The only part we get to see is the hose that gives out coffee.
And the stainless material looks very polish. :-)
Furthermore, it fits in this full of smart electronic devices world.

Have you watched Interstella? Or have you ever thought about what kinds of food astronauts can have in spaceships? Since there is no gravity in space, drinking liquid can be a little hard, especially for special drinks like coffee. For instance, the liquid can become a form of bubbles and flow in the air. So, if there is a coffee machine that can be delivered to space station, many astronauts staying there would be happy to meet caffeine in a long time. :-)
Recently, there is one coffee machine that can do that!

Isspresso, a new zero-gravity coffee machine allowed many astronauts to enjoy decent coffee on International Space Station.
It is 20kg and designed by famous Italian coffee makers, Lavazza and engineering firm Argotec, which majors in making space food.
As to create a coffee machine that can work in zero gravity, engineers figured out how to get the liquids flowing properly in that situation.
And the steel components of Isspresso can stand enormous pressure in order to get out into the space.
The final coffee product, however, will be piped into a sealed plastic pouch due to the gravity restrictions.
Although I am certainly not a science or math person at all,
I am always interested in space, earth and space science, spaceships, space food, and etc.
And this news of Isspresso made me OMG.
I could even feel the enthusiasm of astronauts in the space station as a coffee lover, lol.
Even though I do not get to use the machine in my life, I am so happy for this invention.
Have you ever watched a TV commercial from Nespresso? George Clooney has become the global face of the company and has helped the company's sales. Nevertheless, Nestle has employed a new robot to sell its coffee machines in Japanese stores as a match for Clooney. I think you could have guessed by now what the next object is going to be. YES. A robot coffee machine!!!!!
Pepper the robot, the 120cm-tall robot, has a human-like face with a white plastic body.
And there is a monitor that looks like a tablet computer on its chest.
Nestle said Pepper will help customers to discover their needs through conversations.
Also, artificial intelligence of Pepper can expand its conversational ability by listening to what customers say.
Pepper will go on sale to public next February and the price of it is 198,000 yen plus monthly fees.
I have also seen the commercial with George Clooney and I remember it was quite amazing with his facial expressions, voice and act.
Lol. So, that is not a surprise that Nestle employed a dramatic employee for their sales.
Devices are getting smarter and smarter, and finally a robot that can make us coffee is invented.
If Pepper can really understand what people say, I think it might be possible for lonely customers to keep one as a talking partner with good coffee making skills.

So, that's all I have found for tonight.
Actually, I found the last one, Pepper first.
Then, suddenly, I got interested in different sorts of coffee machines. :)
And as I expected, there WERE various kinds of them.
And I picked 4 most fascinating ones.
Which one attracts you most?
The most practical one is maybe COFFEEBOXX because it can withstand crash, dust, water and etc.
However, it is not that pretty... at all, actually.
Personally, Isspresso fascinates me most since I am a space-freak, but it is not practical at all.. Plus, the cost is going to be really high. hehe....
So, between TopBrewer and Pepper....!
I would choose....
Pepper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
in one condition that it can speak Korean, hehe.
The reason why I chose Pepper over TopBrewer is that I do not live alone.
And there is no room in my sink to install all the machinery..... T.T
So, yea that's it!
I will be back with other interesting coffee news later! BYE!!!!!!
